Commerical Store Front window frames still need to be installed with proper pan flashing and or liquid applied air moisture barrier in the rough opening before install the storefront windows. You also want to assume any window or door opening will leak so we always install the proper pan flashing in the rough openings before any window or door gets installed. Sometimes we even install multiple make-shift pans as a “belts and suspenders” back up security so that leaks never occur.
